This is a dual purpose grinder/blender by Maxim, ideal for grinding the apricot kernels into a fine powder. It's a great little unit and super easy to clean. For many, the bitterness of apricot kernels can be a bit much to cope with. By grinding the kernels, this allows you to mix them into fresh juice, or into a nutritious smoothie, which is how we like to use them. The beauty of this device is that it will grind and blend both dry and wet ingredients. Note: Only grind the quantity of apricot kernels you're likely to use for a few days. Once ground, the kernels will begin to lose their vitamin and nutrient content rapidly, so it's best to Keep any unused, ground kernels in your freezer. |
